Quality Control and Order Follow-Up at Your Factory in Vietnam
Factory audits, in-line and pre-shipment QC, order control and schedule follow-up, done on site by VN Mfg Control from Ho Chi Minh City. You stay in your office. We stand on the floor, chase the factory in Vietnamese and report to you in English. Reply within 24 business hours.
Four services, bought together or one at a time
Most buyers start with the audit, then add QC visits and order control once the first order is on the line.
Factory audit
Facility, equipment, QC system and document trail checked on site before you order, or before you trust the next order.
Quality control
First article, in-line visits during the run, AQL pre-shipment inspection to ISO 2859-1 and loading supervision.
Order control
One contact for the order: PO and spec confirmation, sample approvals, change management, daily factory contact in Vietnamese.
Schedule follow-up
A milestone plan agreed at PO, progress checked against it at every visit, early warning and escalation when it slips.
A defect found at 20 percent is a correction. Found at 100 percent, it is a rejected lot.
A final inspection tells you what happened. In-line visits change what happens.
| Control during the run | Pre-shipment inspection only | |
|---|---|---|
| When | From pre-production review to container loading | Once 80 percent or more of the order is made and packed |
| What can still change | The process, the schedule and the next batch | Nothing on this lot. Rework or rejection are the options left |
| What you receive | Visit reports, weekly status, photos, defect log, actions tracked to closure | One pass or fail report with photos |
| Who it suits | Long or repeat orders, machined and assembled products, a ship date you cannot move | First orders, simple goods, short runs |
We do both. A single pre-shipment inspection is the spot inspection package.
Five points in a run where a visit pays off
Typical scope for the order control package. We agree the exact milestones with you from your drawing, your dates and the last thing that went wrong.
| Milestone | Typically | What we check | What you receive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-production review | Before the first part | Drawing revision on the floor, approved sample, material certificates, tooling and line plan | Readiness note with photos |
| First article check | First pieces off the line | First pieces measured against the drawing and the approved sample | Go or no-go for the run |
| In-line visits | 20 to 80 percent complete | Process, in-process defects, rework rate, schedule against plan | Visit report, defect log, photos |
| Pre-shipment inspection | Made and mostly packed | AQL sampling of finished goods to ISO 2859-1 | Pass, fail or hold report |
| Loading supervision | Container loading | Carton count, marks, condition, seal number | Loading report with seal photo |
Between visits: daily factory contact in Vietnamese, open issues chased, a weekly status to you in English.

Three ways to work with us
Pick the level that fits the order at hand. Move between packages between orders.

One audit, one in-line visit or one pre-shipment inspection.
- Single on-site visit
- AQL sampling to ISO 2859-1 for pre-shipment
- Photo report with pass, fail or hold recommendation
- Report within 24 business hours of the visit
- No ongoing commitment
Order control
Full oversight from purchase order to container loading.
- Pre-production review of drawing, sample and plan
- First article check
- 2 to 3 in-line visits at agreed milestones
- Pre-shipment inspection and loading supervision
- Daily factory contact in Vietnamese, weekly status in English
- Schedule follow-up and escalation
Embedded PM
A project manager on your orders across several suppliers.
- Dedicated project manager
- Several suppliers and POs managed
- Weekly status report
- Spec change handling with the factories
- Inspection visits at an agreed cadence
- Ongoing, terms set in the contract
Products where in-process checks pay for themselves
CNC and machined parts
First article against the drawing, in-process dimensions, surface finish, material certificates.
Sheet metal and welded assemblies
Fixtures and weld samples, flatness and squareness, coating thickness before assembly.
Wood and furniture
Moisture at the start of the run, joinery, finish batches, packing before the final check.
Plastic injection and molded parts
First shots, colour and sink marks, cycle discipline, regrind use.
Electronics and box-build assembly
Line setup, functional test coverage, labelling, ESD discipline.
Packaged consumer goods
Golden sample on the line, print and barcode checks, carton drop tests.
Why two orders get two different scopes
Scope, visits, reporting and fee are set in the contract for each engagement. These are the factors that shape it.
| Number of visits | Cadence and order length decide how many days on site the scope needs. |
|---|---|
| Factory location | Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Long An are day trips from our base. The North and the Central coast add travel. |
| What is checked | Many measurements, function tests or part numbers take longer than a walk of the line. |
| Follow-up between visits | Daily factory contact and a weekly written status are part of order control, not of a spot inspection. |
| Report language | English is standard. Japanese, Korean or German reporting is agreed in the contract. |
| Package | Spot inspection, order control or embedded PM. Each has its own scope in the contract. |

Common questions before you start
What does a manufacturing control service actually do?
We are your presence at the factory. That means auditing the factory before you place the order, visiting the line at agreed milestones while the order runs, running pre-shipment inspections to AQL standards, and chasing the factory daily so the ship date holds. You stay in your office. We stand on the floor, talk to the factory in Vietnamese and report to you in English.
Are you a sourcing agent?
No. We do not find factories. You already have a supplier; our job is to control the work that supplier does for you, under a contract with you. Our interest is your quality and your ship date.
Can you work at a factory I found myself, or on Alibaba?
Yes. Most buyers come with a factory already chosen. We start with a one-time on-site audit, document what we find and run the control program against that baseline. You keep the supplier relationship; we make sure the work gets done right.
What inspection standard do you work to?
Pre-shipment inspections follow ISO 2859-1 (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4) sampling, by default General Level II with AQL 2.5 for major and 4.0 for minor defects. We tighten or loosen it at your request. Reports carry photos, measurements against your spec, packing checks and a pass, fail or hold recommendation.
Which products do you cover?
Light industrial and consumer manufacturing where being on site matters: CNC and machined parts, sheet metal and welded assemblies, wood and furniture, plastic injection, electronics box-build and packaged consumer goods. We do not take food, pharmaceutical or high-volume garment work.
How fast do I get the report?
Inspection and visit reports arrive within 24 business hours of the visit. A factory audit report arrives within 5 working days. Every inquiry gets a first reply within 24 business hours.
