Privacy and How We Handle Your Data
What we collect
- Contact details you enter: name, work email, company and country.
- Product and factory details: product description, category, factory name and province, quantity, dates and services wanted.
- Files you upload, such as drawings, specifications, purchase orders or previous inspection reports.
- For partners: your profile, coverage, rates and any CV, sample report or factory profile you send.
- Analytics: pages visited and form submissions, collected through Google Tag Manager and Cloudflare.
Who sees it
Your details, drawings and supplier names stay with VN Mfg Control. They are shared only with a freelance inspector we engage for your job, under a written confidentiality undertaking, and only to the extent the visit needs. We do not sell, pass or rent your data to anyone else, and we never share one buyer's drawings with another buyer or with a factory other than yours.
Factory details
We contact the factory you name only after you have introduced us. Nothing you tell us about a supplier is passed to any other party.
NDA requests
If you tick the NDA box, we sign your NDA, or send ours, before we discuss drawings, photos or the supplier's name.
How long files are kept
Inquiry details and files are kept for 12 months by default so that a repeat order can start from the same baseline. Audit, visit and inspection reports are kept for the life of the engagement plus 24 months, because buyers ask for them in later disputes. We delete earlier on request.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. Email sales at vnmfgcontrol.com and we respond within 30 days. Partners can write to partner at vnmfgcontrol.com.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses Google Tag Manager for analytics and Cloudflare for hosting and security. Forms are delivered by FormSubmit to our inbox. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block analytics cookies in your browser without losing any function of the site.
