Terms of Service
1. What we provide
VN Mfg Control provides manufacturing control services at factories in Vietnam: factory audits, first article checks, in-line visits, pre-shipment inspections, loading supervision, order control and schedule follow-up. The exact scope, milestones, sampling plan, reporting and fee for each engagement are set out in a written contract for each engagement, signed before the first visit. These terms apply unless the contract says otherwise.
2. What a report is, and is not
- A report records what we saw, measured and were told on the day of the visit, on the sample inspected, against the drawing, specification and acceptance level you gave us.
- A report is not a certificate of conformity for the whole lot, a guarantee of the factory's future performance or a substitute for your own acceptance of the goods.
- Sampling follows ISO 2859-1 unless the contract states another plan. A lot that passes a sampling inspection may still contain defective pieces within the acceptance level.
- Decisions to accept, rework, hold or reject goods, and to pay the factory, are yours.
3. Your part
- You introduce us to the factory and obtain its agreement to visits. A visit refused or cut short by the factory is reported and charged as a visit.
- You supply the current drawing or specification, the approved sample where one exists and the acceptance levels. We inspect against what you give us.
- You pay the factory directly. We never hold or route payment for goods.
4. Fees
Fees, invoicing and cancellation terms are set in the contract for each engagement. Nothing on this site is a price or an offer; the contract is.
5. Confidentiality
Your drawings, specifications, supplier names and commercial terms are confidential. We use them only for your engagement, share them with a freelance inspector only under a written undertaking and only as far as the visit requires, and never with another buyer or another factory. We sign your NDA on request. Details are in the privacy policy.
6. Liability
We carry out every visit with reasonable skill and care. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid under the contract for that engagement. We are not liable for the factory's goods, delays or conduct, for defects outside the inspected sample or the agreed scope, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Guides, tables and example reports on this site describe typical practice and are illustrations. They are not advice for a specific order and not reports on any real factory. Standards such as ISO 2859-1 are cited as references.
